Where Magic Meets
Child Development
Riannon Canestrelli, M. Ed.
A Childhood Wish that Never Faded
When I was three years old, a princess walked into my birthday party and changed my world forever. I watched her movie every single day, reenacted scenes with my mom, I met her & her prince charming in REAL LIFE and carried that spark of wonder with me as I grew up.
Becoming the Princess I Once Met
A decade ago, I stepped into my first gown as a princess performer, trained by former *park* princesses and I quickly realized that the magic I felt as a child was something I could GIVE back.
The Heart of My Approach
With a Master's Degree in Child Development & Education and over 10 years of early childhood teaching experience, I blend storytelling with research-based engagement. I meet children exactly where they are, "leaving the adults behind" (unless they want to journey with us!), and enter the child's world. Retheming familiar songs, games, and activities to create moments of connection, curiosity, and those unforgettable lightbulb realizations. Looking the part is NOT enough, it's the magical connection and keeping engagement that creates a lasting experience.
Connecting Through Curiosity
Watching a child recognize their favorite character in person standing before them, having them recall details from the story, make connections between our matching outfits, and asking thoughtful questions is one of my greatest joys. It's the "I KNEW you were real" moments.
Stitching Magic Into Every Seam
After observing first hand how "flat" performances & low-quality costuming can break the magic & illusion for children and adults, I chose to become a couture-level costume maker, sewing each gown myself to preserve the experience for everyone. To me, it's NEVER "just a person in a costume". It's a piece of a fairytale brought to life, a luxurious reimagining that feels perfectly familiar to the children (and adults) who love these timeless stories.
Because Magic Matters
I do this work because every child deserves to believe in magic, to feel that their dreams are real, and to experience make-believe in a way that honors their developmental needs.
The Heart Behind The Enchanted Wardrobe
My HOPE is that LONG after the party ends, everyone who experienced the enchantment we made together too can carry that spark with them; a reminder that they can be ANYTHING, imagine EVERYTHING, and never have to grow out of their sense of wonder.
"The owner is incredibly sweet & acts with such class! She is the definition of a true princess, I haven’t got to use her services but if they are anything like her kind heart I’m sure they are beyond amazing." -Courtney F.
